PETE McCALL - Rod Stewart

Pete started his career singing songs from a wide variety of artistes, but people kept saying to him that he sounded so much like Rod Stewart. He has always been a big Rod Stewart fan and has seen him live on numerous occasions, so it was an easy decision to become a solo Rod tribute. He hasn’t looked back since and soon became very successful, receiving rave reviews in Europe as well as in the UK and is also very highly thought of by the fan club and other stalwart Rod Stewart fans worldwide. This is not surprising, as he is undoubtably the number one sound alike, whose attention to detail is paramount.
However, Pete wanted to take his career even further, so a few years ago he added a live band and started working on the production for The Rod Stewart Songbook theatre show, which is now touring venues throughout the UK.

TERRY BELL - Keyboard & Vocals

Terry’s musical career has spanned nearly 50 years, so he brings a wealth of experience to the band. He has performed in numerous groups, playing all genres of music, from musical theatre to rock, has worked with many named acts and for 10 years was the keyboard player for Sir Ken Dodd, playing theatres throughout the UK. Terry also works at his local Performing Arts College, is a songwriter, arranger and has been very instrumental in the production of this show.

PHIL PROCTOR - Lead Guitar & Vocals

Phil started his music career at the tender age of nine playing brass instruments, switching to the guitar in his early teens.  He has since played in numerous bands, writing original material and playing covers.  Phil went on to tour Europe and the world’s high seas, performing on cruise ships and travelling the globe.  He is now a busy, qualified, peripatetic music teacher with around a hundred students.  An expressive and intuitive musician, Phil still enjoys above all, performing with the Rod Stewart Songbook.

RICK DAVIS - Saxophone

A latecomer to the music world & essentially self taught, Rick has swapped weaving in & out of football defences for intertwining his lines around a melody.
His soaring sound has been heard across the country in soul bands & as support for renowned artists such as Steve Harley, Paul Jones, Dave Kelly & Maggie Bell.
